THE HUMAN TEAM

Kay understands the growth that is possible for individuals when working in nature and with animals. She brings years of experience as a licensed independent clinical social worker in Minnesota and Alaska. In addition to Healing Journeys, Kay maintains her own private practice.

Kay has a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Iowa. She has also published multiple articles and an instruction manual on equine-assisted therapy. Kay enjoys mushing and regularly volunteers at sled dog races in Minnesota. She fell in love with Alaska on a trip to watch the Iditarod.
